La rentrée anciliane 2023
L’automne, c’est le retour en classe, c’est la fin des vacances, c’est le temps de se préparer pour l’hiver. C’est le moment de s’emmitoufler au bord du feu sous une couverture douillette avec un bon livre.
On pense souvent à l’automne comme un déclin. On s’en va vers le sommeil, le froid, la noirceur, la mort. En réalité, nous mettons tout en place pour notre renaissance, notre transformation. On s’enrobe dans un cocon de lainage durant nos introspections qui perdureront jusqu’au printemps.
Même si je n’ai pas pris de vacances cet été, j’ai quand même ralenti mon rythme de travail pour profiter des quelques jours durant lesquels le soleil a daigné briller sur la bonne vieille Angleterre. Pleine de l’espoir du beau temps, j’ai planifié la nouvelle année des Ancilians pour vous offrir encore plus d’aventures dans leur univers.

Les blogues : nous continuerons nos conversations hebdomadaires dans lesquelles vous trouverez des microfictions, des réflexions poétiques, des astuces, des commentaires, des processus créatifs et des pensées que je veux partager avec vous.
L’expérience « et si » : les inspirations apparaîtront dans les blogues. Si elles sont trop longues, elles débuteront dans le blogue et finiront dans ChatsGrisGreyCats.
Publications :
Tout est en place pour que l’Enfant-Gardien 5 : Vengeance soit publié le 24 novembre. Vous pouvez le précommander dès maintenant. J’ai dû reporter la sortie de l’Enfant-Gardien 5 puisqu’il s’est produit un magicide à Tagara et je devais le résoudre afin de compléter le roman.
La date n’est pas encore fixée pour mon premier court roman traduit en anglais : Loudna Between Leaps: Shipwreck. Il n’y a pas de magicide à résoudre dans ce roman de science-fiction plein d'action durant son passage à l’âge adulte. En revanche, j’ai encore quelques corrections à effectuer avant d’offrir cette traduction de Loudna entre deux sauts : naufrage, à mes lecteurs anglophones.
Projets en cours :
L’Enfant-Gardien 6 : le talion (en rédaction). Améthyste et ses compagnons pourchassent leur ennemi dans les montagnes afin de sauver leurs amis.
Le diamant : Valianta et Kaldrane enquêtent (en réécriture). En 2023, je voulais travailler sur Crocodile, mais Valianta et Kaldrane m’ont rendu visite (Le diamant, chatsgris-greycats ). Le diamant ne devait être qu’une nouvelle. Cependant, alors que Valianta et Kaldrane me racontaient tous les rebondissements et chavirements de leur enquête criminelle, j’ai bien compris que leur histoire deviendrait un roman. J’ai même déjà esquissé les 2e et 3e livres qui se déroulent dans les royaumes des fées, les féeriaumes.
Loudna and the Strings of Time: War of Taar (en correction). Après un repos quelque peu turbulent (Loudna entre deux sauts : Naufrage), Atharany, la guerrière quantique, remonte dans le temps pour aider ses ancêtres à remporter la guerre de Taar.
The Elfian Apprentice 1: Obsession (La traduction de la première chronique des années elfianes -L’enfant-Gardien 4).
Mercredi des Arts : un livre d’art qui présentera mes visualisations quantiques de l’univers des Ancilians (en préparation)
Et bien d’autres esquisses de romans à revisiter ou à créer selon l’humeur de mes neurones et mon inspiration du moment.

je continuerai à publier les épisodes du roman Le diamant… et j’y laisserai aussi d’autres inspirations pour des nouvelles ou des romans…

The New Ancilian Season 2023
Fall, it’s back to school, it’s the end of the holidays, it’s time to prepare for winter. It’s the moment to cuddle up by the fire under a cosy blanket with a good book.
Autumn is often thought of as a decline. All go to sleep, cold, darkness, death. In reality, we put everything in place for our rebirth, our transformation. We wrap ourselves in a woollen cocoon for an introspection that will last until spring.
Although I didn’t take a vacation this summer, I reduced my workload to enjoy the few days when the sun consented to shine on good old England. Filled with the hope brought by fine weather, I have planned the new Ancilian year to offer you even more adventures in their universe.
What will you discover in the Ancilian world in 2023-24?

Blogs: I will continue our weekly discussions where you will find flash fictions, poetic reflections, tips, comments, creative processes and any thoughts that I want to share with you.
Experiment “What If”: these inspirations will appear in blogs. If they’re too long, they will start in the blog and end in ChatsGrisGreyCats.
L’Enfant-Gardien 5 : Vengeance (French edition) will be published on November 24. You can pre-order it now. I had to postpone the release of Guardian Child 5 because a magicide was committed in Tagara. To finish the novel, I had to solve it.
The date isn’t yet set for my first novella translated into English: Loudna Between Leaps: Shipwreck. There is no magicide in this science fiction coming of age story that takes you into the present (our future) of Atharany Dendar, aka Loudna... but a lot of action.
Current projects:
L’Enfant-Gardien 6 : Le Talion, French edition (in writing). Améthyste and her companions chase their enemy into the mountains to save their friends.
The diamond: Valianta and Kaldrane investigate, French and English editions (in rewriting). I was planning to work on Crocodile, but Valianta and Kaldrane visited me (The Diamond, chatsgris-greycats ). The diamond was supposed to be a short story. However, as Valianta and Kaldrane told me all the twists and turns of their murder investigation, I understood that their story would become a novel. I have already plotted the second and third books that take place in the realms of the fairies, the faerydoms.
Loudna and the Strings of Time: War of Taar, English Edition (in correction). After a short yet eventful rest (Loudna Between Leaps: Shipwreck), Atharany the quantum warrior, goes back in time to help her ancestors win the Taar War.
The Elfian Years 1: Obsession, English edition (in translation). The Guardian Child knows the witch has survived the fall, she must prove it to her protectors, even if it means breaking Elfian laws.
Art Wednesdays: an art book filled with my quantum visualizations of the Ancilian universe, French and English editions (in preparation)
And many other plotted novels to revisit or create according to the mood of my neurons and my inspiration of the moment.
